    – Swordigo (Free)

    Let's start our list with one of the most epic Android games. Only those who really like to play games on their cell phones know Swordigo.



    Control a brave warrior on his quest to defeat a dark mage. The game has huge scenarios to explore and simple combat, but with many mechanics, which are added as you progress through the game. A must-see for any platformer fan.

    – Sword of Xolan (Free)

    Sword of Xolan is an ideal game for those looking for that feeling of playing a Super Nintendo game. The game brings an adventure full of action and puzzles, where you have to fight evil using the Sword of Xolan.

    The simple look is perfect for playing for many hours without draining your phone's battery. There are 30 stages, with three final bosses. Sword of Xolan supports bluetooth controls.

    – Dan The Man (Free)

    Dan The Man brings the side-rolling action package to near-perfect form. Get ready for a game with a lot of beating where this Dan guy needs to save his girlfriend from the villains (who happen to be the producers of the game).



    The game's stages are divided into a "Super Mario" layout with a map showing all its evolution. There are few stages, but the game hides many secrets with secret areas and the possibility to play with characters from Halfbrick Studios like Barry from the game Jetpack Joyride.

    – Lep's World 3 (Free)

    Super Mario Run was a slight disappointment for sure, but Lep's World 3 fulfills the role of having a “Super Mario World” style game on iPhone, iPad and Android phones.

    Help a friendly Leprechaun rescue his friends through more than 120 levels. The game is completely offline, but has online multiplayer via Facebook. Play with friends and try to reach the end of this incredible adventure.

    – Ducktales Remastered (PAID)

    Released for consoles such as the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360, Ducktales Remastered came to smartphones with Android and iOS in 2013. The game is a remake of an old-time Nintendo 8-bit (NES) classic.

    With very colorful graphics and control support. Ducktales Remastered is one of the best platform games for mobile. Defeat Scrooge's enemies in an adventure from Egypt to the moon.

    In The East New World, an angry young man seeks revenge for the death of his beloved. The game has beautiful pixel art and captivating gameplay.

    – Super Cat Bros (Free)

    A Super Mario World with Cats. Super Cat Bros is a very cute game, however, it doesn't leave aside the challenge. Altogether there are 50 stages with different worlds such as Ice, Water, Fire and so on.

    The graphics with a simple design are very reminiscent of Nintendo's creations in the 8bit and 16bit era. The duration of the phases is great, being the game suitable for playing both “indoor” (at home) and on the street.

    Speaking of Mega Man, we have this game heavily inspired by the classic CAPCOM game. Rockbot 1 is a game that was developed for Linux and Windows and that also came to Android.
